    @Jadyellow8 I believe what you hear first is the “open air mic” recording the room, and the reason the sound of the drums change is because this recording crossfades between the room mic and the mixer.

    Kudos to Sir Cobham for keeping the spirit alive after so many eons…Having met and seen him perform live, he remains a source of neverending inspiration to me and my fledgling drumming skills.. Jazz is Dead was an interesting venture. Saw them when they came to Atlanta, GA a few years ago.
